Recognising the achievements of teams and individuals is always high on the agenda for Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club who held their annual Long Service Awards last month.
Ashdown Park employees who have dedicated five or more years’ service were invited to attend an elegant canapé reception and lunch hosted by the Managing Director of Elite Hotels, Graeme Bateman, and General Manager, Ben Booker.
17 members of staff celebrated work milestones including five years, 10 years, 15 years and 20 years and were gifted a one or two-night stay at the Elite Hotel of their choice. The number of staff receiving Long Service Awards is a testament to the investment and emphasis Ashdown Park puts into training and development programmes to help staff build long and successful careers in hospitality.
Special recognition went to Jenny Sandells, Supervisor in the award winning 2 AA Rosette Anderida Restaurant and Fairway Lounge, who celebrated 35 years of service at Ashdown Park.
Graeme Bateman, Managing Director of Elite Hotels added: “We are absolutely thrilled to be honouring so many staff with their Long Service Awards in 2017, with some 243 across the group. We work hard to create an environment where people not only enjoy their work but also have the opportunity to develop their career within the hotel.’
